Unique iCam46 series IPCAM uses high compression MPEG-4 technology to compress the captured image. Due to the high compression rate, the captured image stream can be broadcasted the MPEG-4 format in low bandwidth environment. The resolution of the iCam46 camera can be up to 720x576 pixels. The use of MPEG-4 compression technology guarantees the high quality of broadcast view.

Similar to iCam33 series IPCAM, iCam46 camera also provides the capability to detect external event if an input is activated from the camera’s GPIO port. This external event will trigger the camera to take a photo and send it to the defined FTP server and/or email account. In addition, iCam33 camera also integrates with burglar alarm system to send the photo to email account and/or FTP server if the alarm system is activated.
